last.fm : internetradio mal gut

ich hab den link zum gruppenradio im portal angepasst ... der öffnet nun ein kleines neues fenster und benutzt den flash-player ... so braucht man nicht mehr den last.fm player zu installiern

oh das man das radio auf seine seite mit dem flash-player haun kann wird n feature von last.fm ... ausserdem hats im beta player ne möglichkeit den sender zu wechseln ... und man kann sich eine eigene playliste zusammenstellen welche dann dort abgespielt wird ...

Radio Redefined

Radio is pretty important to Last.fm, so we've spent some time in the lab giving it a new set of tyres. We've also had to change a few concepts due to evolving radio licensing issues, as some of you are probably already aware. In a nutshell:

Our new design/functionality makes radio a central Last.fm concept that you won't have to hunt for in a sidebar anymore. And now it's portable! Click on a 'share this station' link to see our new station pages, each dedicated to a particular station, making them easier to find and share with friends or embed in your MySpace / blog. There's some nice extra info too -- that previously was only available in the software.

Who gets what stations?
The biggest change is that everyone (even non-subscribers) can now listen to other users' personal radio station. We've also tweaked personal radio to better reflect people's profiles.

On your own page, you'll see your recommendations. Why? Because your personal radio is what you've already listened to, and Last.fm is about discovering new music. (Conveniently, this also complies with online radio licensing rules ). As before, subscribers can still listen to their own personal radio, loved tracks, etc - click 'see all stations' to find them.


Bring Back the Mix Tape

Our new playlist feature lets you make your own mix! On your user page you'll find one of those flash players (which you can easily remove if you're not keen on mixing some tunes). Add tracks and previews to your playlist with the 'add track' icon you'll find throughout the site, and create a playlist for your friends to listen to. You can share and embed it on your blog too. There's no time limit, and you don't have to ask for it back.


Find Your Friends

Finally! There's been a lot of requests for this feature, and now you can easily find friends on Last.fm that are in your web mail address book with our new contacts importer. (Note: you may see a security certificate warning on this page; this can be safely ignored. We're not evil hackers, promise.)

You'll notice lots of smaller changes as well, including upgrades to the events system. We also have a few other cool features up our sleeve which we may introduce later in the beta period. Stay tuned!

Thanks for helping us test! Please only post bugs from the beta in this forum, and be sure to read the Known Issues thread first. We're planning on running the beta for about a week, and we'll be making small changes and improvements over that time.

so wie es aussieht sind die änderungen jetzt auch normal online

da war heise ja mal super langsam ... die deutsche seite gibts ja schon über n monat

Last.fm Radio wird in den meisten Ländern kostenpflichtig
Angebot in den USA, Großbritannien und Deutschland bleibt kostenlos
Bislang bietet Last.fm die Möglichkeit, individuelle Radioprogramme kostenlos zu hören. Doch das ändert sich, denn künftig setzt das ein kostenpflichtiges Abo voraus. Nur in drei Ländern bleibt das Angebot kostenlos.

In den USA, Großbritannien und auch Deutschland bleibt Last.fm Radio kostenlos. Doch Nutzer in anderen Ländern müssen künftig ein kostenpflichtiges Abo abschließen. Lediglich ein Probeabo mit 30 Titeln soll dort noch kostenlos angeboten werden. Wer Last.fm Radio darüber hinaus nutzen will, wird mit 3 Euro pro Monat zur Kasse gebeten.

Die Umstellung betrifft ausschließlich die Radioprogramme von Last.fm, andere Funktionen wie das Scrobbling, Musikempfehlungen, Charts, Künstlerbiografien und Videos bleiben in allen Ländern kostenlos.

Last.fm streamt seit 2002 Musik über sein Onlineangebot und hat heute rund 30 Millionen Nutzer weltweit, die mindestens einmal im Monat auf das Angebot von rund 7 Millionen Titeln zugreifen. 2007 wurde das Unternehmen für rund 280 Millionen US-Dollar vom US-Fernsehsender CBS übernommen. (ji)

ich zahl ja schon fast seit anfang an bei last.fm ... da mir die idee einfach gut gefallen hat ... aber wenns pflicht werden würde bekämen die von mir keinen cent mehr ...
